The King of the earth who freed us from the sins by His blood has made us kings and priests to serve Him.

Think Spot:
We have learned much about how to serve God as a priest (e.g., as a full-time minister). But how do we serve as a “king” (as a businessman and working professional) in the marketplace?

A myth:: Often serving as “king” is considered as second-class Christian. Somehow greater value is given to those who serve as a “priest”. The result is many Christians are still waiting for the day that they can avail themselves to serve God full-time. They didn’t recognize that right where they are, regardless of their profession, they are already called as full-time ministers – having been committed to the ministry of reconciliation as the Ambassadors of Christ the day we are born again (see 2 Cor. 5:20).
